Kolkata: After Egra in West Bengal, now a case of bomb blast has come to light in Dubrajpur of Birbhum. Here a part of the house of the ruling Trinaool Congress (TMC) leader was blown away due to the bomb kept in his house. The blast took place on Monday (May 22) in Ghopara village under Paduma Gram Panchayat. According to local sources, the house damaged in the blast belongs to local TMC worker and leader Sheikh Shafiq. As soon as this information was received, a heavy police force of Dubrajpur police station has reached the spot.

According to sources, bombs were placed on the terrace and stairs of the TMC leader's house. However, it is not yet known who had planted the bombs there. The police of Dubrajpur police station went and searched the area and the entire house has been cordoned off. It has been learned that a bomb was placed under the stairs of TMC leader Sheikh Shafiq's house. This accident happened due to the blast of that bomb, due to which a part of Shafiq's house was blown away. It is being told that the health of a woman has deteriorated in this incident. He was rescued and taken to a local hospital. For the last few days, there is noise regarding the blast. On Sunday night, there was a terrible blast due to fire in the godown of the illegal firecracker factory of BuzzBuzz. Three people had died in this incident. At the same time, 11 people lost their lives in the blast in the firecracker factory in Egra, it was told that this factory also belonged to the TMC leader. 

It is being told that TMC leader Sheikh Shafiq is a farmer by profession. In the locality they are known as grassroots workers. Locals claim that more than fifty bombs were kept in that house. But the question arises that why so many bombs were kept in his house? The leaders of the opposition party say that these bombs are being collected to spread panic in Bengal before the Panchayat elections.
