Lucknow: MLA Vijay Mishra has been taken into custody from MP's Agar Malwa on the Tahrir of Bhadohi police from the Gyanpur seat of Famous Bhadohi, among the Bahubali leaders of the country's largest state UP. Superintendent of Police Ram Badan Singh has confirmed the arrest. Giving information, he said that the team of Bhadohi police has left to bring Vijay Mishra to Uttar Pradesh. SP said in his statement that Vijay Mishra, his wife and his son Krishna Mohan Tiwari had filed a case.

Let me tell you that a day ago, Vijay Mishra released a video telling the crisis of his and his family's life. The MLA alleges that there is a conspiracy against him for the district panchayat election. The MLA had said that he is a Brahmin, and could have an encounter. However, the police have termed the statement of MLA as false and baseless. Vijay Mishra has a long criminal history.

More than 60 criminal cases were registered against Vijay Mishra. However, with time, these became less. According to the affidavit given by Vijay Mishra in the 2017 assembly elections, 16 cases of murder, attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy, etc. are going on for him. Vijay Mishra has been elected MLA for the fourth consecutive time from Gyanpur seat of Bhadohi. The same case is now being investigated.
