Madhya Pradesh Burhanpur: The trending Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi, entered Madhya Pradesh from Boderli village situated on the Maharashtra border. The Yatra flag was handed over by Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole to Madhya Pradesh congress chief Kamal Nath in the presence of Rahul Gandhi.

After a two-day rest, the yatra returned to Boderli village in the Madhya Pradesh region of Burhanpur today.
Rahul Gandhi addressed two election rallies in poll-bound Gujarat during the break from Bharat Jodo Yatra.

On the first day of the yatra in Madhya Pradesh, a large number of Congress leaders and supporters, including Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath, took part.

The yatra banner was presented to Kamal Nath by Nana Patole, the head of the Maharashtra Congress. The Congress foot march has now been going for 77 days.

Burhanpur has a lengthy history and rose to prominence under the Mughal dynasty, particularly under Shah Jahan. Over the following 11 days, the Yatra will pass through 7 districts of MP "the leader of Congress stated in a tweet.

“One-sixth of Burhanpur district's cultivated area is covered with bananas and it is also one of the centres of the power loom industry. RahulGandhi will be talking to banana growers and power loom workers today afternoon,” a tweet read.
Before entering Rajasthan, the yatra will travel a distance of 370 kilometres.
