Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Ambala amid dense fog

HARYANA: Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi resumed on Tuesday in Haryana's Ambala amid intense fog and biting cold.

The Yatra commenced from Ambala's Shahpur at  6 am and will reach Saini Bhavan around 10 am. The Yatra is scheduled to end at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab today.

Many participants in the Yatra could be seen today shouting enthusiastically. In the meantime, a large number of female Bharat Yatris took part in the Haryana leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Monday.

An Indian Youth Congress leader named Parag Sharma said that she took part in the all-women march alongside her mother and kid.

"Women were honoured today, and many people are enthusiastic about the Yatra that begins before dawn. This is a wind of change and will move everyone in the right direction "She said.

A portion of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Haryana have been traversed by the footmarch, which began on September 7 at Kanyakumari. Jammu and Kashmir will serve as its climax.
