Dehradun: India's first Chief of Defence Staff means the entire country is in mourning the passing away of CDS General Bipin Rawat. Meanwhile, senior Kedarnath pilgrim Purohit Srinivas Posti has demanded the Government of India to give Bharat Ratna to CDS late Bipin Rawat. He said he had met him in Kedarnath and Tehri. Rawat used to talk about the safety of every citizen of India. They wanted to do a lot for Garhwal and Uttarakhand. Bipin Rawat visited Kedarnath on September 19, 2019.

India's first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and 13 persons including his wife were killed in the same army helicopter crash. A DNA test has been conducted to identify the bodies due to severe burns in the accident. So far, only three bodies have been identified, including General Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and Brigadier LS Lidd.

Tell me, Bipin Rawat hailed from Uttarakhand. On his death, mourning is prevailing in san village of Village Panchayat Virmoli in his native village Pauri district. CDS Bipin Rawat visited Kedarnath Dham with wife on September 19, 2019. He worshipped Baba Kedar and performed jalabhishek. Due to this, Bipin Rawat had also taken stock of the reconstruction work in Kedarnath. As a result, Manoj Semwal, team in-charge of wood stone construction company, the executing agency, had told him about Adiguru Shankaracharya's mausoleum, Astha Path. CDS Bipin Rawat had a special attachment to Uttarakhand. He was always disturbed by the exodus from the border areas here.
