Amritsar: Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who became a Rajya Sabha MP from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has made a big announcement. He said he would spend the salary from the Rajya Sabha for the education and well-being of the daughters of farmers. Harbhajan said that he will definitely do whatever he can for the betterment of the country. Harbhajan Singh has been elected to the AAP's Rajya Sabha from Punjab some time ago.

When Harbhajan Singh was elected to the Rajya Sabha by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Punjab, there was a lot of uproar over him. Questions were also being raised on Bhajji's role in the farmers' agitation that he did not openly support the farmers. Bhajji is currently doing commentary in IPL 2022. There was speculation about Harbhajan Singh, who hails from Jalandhar, joining the BJP earlier. Even he was set to be made the CM candidate in the Punjab elections.  

However, seeing the situation in Punjab, the BJP backtracked from it. After this, the then Punjab Congress President Navjot Sidhu met Bhajji. Then there was every hope that Harbhajan would take on the Congress. But he didn't want to contest the election. After this, suddenly he joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the AAP made him a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab.
