Bhopal: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement in the Assembly House on Monday. The CM has announced that the electricity bills of 88 lakh consumers of Madhya Pradesh will be waived off. In fact, on Monday, the CM was making his statement on the Governor's address in the House, at the same time he made this big announcement. The CM said that the electricity bills that came during the corona period will be waived. The electricity bills of 88 lakh consumers who came at the time of the corona crisis will be waived. The amount will be around Rs 6,400 crore. At the same time, the CM has also announced that the amount of the persons who have deposited the electricity bills due to this will be adjusted in the upcoming bills.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that "48 lakh consumers had deposited electricity bill of Rs 189 crore under the resolution scheme. Now he doesn't realize that we've been cheated, what will happen to us now. So, I am also taking a decision today that the amount of money they have deposited will be further adjusted in the electricity bills."

 

 

Recently on the occasion of his birthday on March 5, CM Shivraj gave a big gift to the sanitation workers of Madhya Pradesh. The CM announced that cash prizes will be given to sanitation workers based on the rating of cities in Swachh Survekshan 2022. For this, it has been decided that the sanitation workers of cities whose cleanliness rating will be 1 star will be given a cash prize of 1 thousand rupees.
