Bhopal: The amount of CM Kanyadaan Yojana will be increased from Rs 51,000 to Rs 55,000. In the scheme, household items will be given as gifts. Ladli Lakshmi Yojana-2 will be launched from May 2. This was stated by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the Chintan meeting.
Ministers Usha Thakur, Meena Singh and Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia have been given the responsibility to finalize the draft of Ladli Laxmi Yojana-2. The scheme will be launched on May 2. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was given the details regarding the implementation of the directions given in the review meetings of all the departments held in Pachmarhi from 3rd to 11th January. Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava, Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silawat, Minister of State for General Administration Inder Singh Parmar, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput, Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Industries Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Mineral Resources Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, Power Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel presented information on activities related to their departments.
The CM said that the department should decide a time-bound schedule of budget expenditure and ensure that the schemes are implemented and reviewed in a time-bound manner. The CM said that construction work worth Rs 48,000 crore has to be done in the state. Therefore, institutions of repute and good credentials, including PIU, may be empanelled for construction work. These should also include institutions of the Government of India. These agencies may also be considered to be entrusted with the responsibility to complete the upcoming construction works in the State in a time-bound manner. The CM said that it is necessary to regulate and control the process of awarding the construction works to the petty contractor. All the construction departments were directed to reflect on it, assess the ongoing arrangements in other states and submit a report within a week.
