North India in the grip of severe heatwave, Meteorological Department issued alert

New Delhi: Even before April arrived in various states across the country, the scorching heat has started showing its impact. In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, mercury is continuously rising in many districts. In the country's capital Delhi and some cities in Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature has crossed 38 degrees in the month of March itself. Meanwhile, the Met department has predicted hot winds for the next five days in north, west and central India.

According to the IMD, the impact of heatwave will be seen in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The heatwave is expected to run in the next 4 to 5 days. At the same time, there is no chance of rain at the moment. According to the IMD, the weather will remain dry for now. According to the Met department, there is no possibility of getting relief from the heat in north, west and central India.

The Meteorological Department has said that the temperature will increase due to the heat of the sun during the day amid the dry weather. In Rajasthan, the maximum day temperature in Banswara has reached 42.1 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the heatwave again in the coming days.
