Lucknow: Political parties have started to become a stampede shortly before the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. In the same vein, the BJP is going to give a big blow to Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday. According to reports, SP leaders CP Chand, Ravi Shankar Pappu, Ram Niranjan, Narendra Bhati and Akshay Pratap are likely to take over the BJP today. All of them are currently members of the Legislative Council, the MLC, and their term ends in March next year.

It may be recalled that last Sunday itself, the BJP high command had approved the inclusion of SP rebels in its party. Moreover, the names of some Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress leaders have also been sealed and the current MLA of SP, BSP are likely to take over the BJP in the next few days.  In fact, all these MLAs want to secure a ticket for themselves in the coming elections and the BJP is currently discussing the same. Once a decision is taken, the situation will become clear and an announcement in this regard is also likely to be made soon.

Earlier this month, the UP BJP had formed a four-member team to monitor rebel leaders of other parties. However, the committee was formed by the BJP so that the background of the leaders coming to the party will be known. Earlier, the BJP had suffered a lot after several controversial leaders joined the party and reversed the decision.
