New Delhi: The rise and fall in Covid-19 daily cases in the country is increasing even more rapidly. In the last 24 hours, there have been 12,408 new cases of Covid-19 infection, while 120 patients have succumbed to this terrible virus. There has been a slight drop in cases on Friday as compared to Thursday. As per the latest data released by the Central Health Department, 12,408 new daily cases of Covid were reported in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected patients has crossed 1.08 crore. The total number of patients infected with Coronavirus in the country has increased to 1,08,02,591.

Talking about the statistics of the Health Department, 120 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, after which the number of patients who died of Coronavirus in the country has increased to 1,54,823. The number of patients recovering daily is higher than the number of daily infected patients, due to which a continuous decline in active cases is being recorded. According to the information received, in the last 24 hours, 15,853 people in the country have returned home after defeating the infection of the virus. Active cases of Covid-19 have been steadily falling due to the increase in the number of healthy patients daily. At present, the number of active cases of Covid has increased to 1,51,460 in the country, the treatment of these people is going on in the hospital.

As far as this is known, 49,59,445 people have been vaccinated by Covid-19 so far in the country. The vaccination campaign started in the country from 16 January and so far about 5 million people have been vaccinated. 1,239 private hospitals and 5,912 government hospitals are being used to vaccinate health and frontline workers across the country.
