In view of the festival season, Indian Railway to start 80 more special trains anon. As per the information received from the sources, Indian Railways may further increase the number of special trains in view of the festival in October-November. Next month, the Ministry of Railways can announce special trains as per demand. In view of the lockdown applicable across the country to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the railways had stopped services of most of the trains.

In the special trains, these trains will be run separately from the existing special trains and Labour special trains. These trains will get a firm ticket and 19 pairs of cloned trains will run each with 18 coaches, while with a pair of 22 coaches, it would be run on the Delhi-Lucknow route. According to railway officials, clone trains are in addition to 310 pairs of trains running. The passenger will have to adhere to the guidelines issued by the railways.

According to sources, in October, the Ministry of Railways may announce about 80 more special trains in view of travel demand in the festival season. In October and November, many Hindu festivals like Dussehra, Navratri, Deepawali, Bhai Dooj, the demand for trans will increase. In particular, demand will increase more in North India. In September, railways had directed to run 80 special trains and 40 clone trains. It will provide a lot of relief to the passengers.
