Due to Coronavirus, the number of infected people across the country is continuously increasing. Keeping this in mind, new rules have been issued in many places. Under the Ministry of Culture, all the historical monuments of the country are going to be opened for common people from today i.e. Monday. Under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), preparations for opening of all historical monuments have been completed. ASI has installed thermal scanners in all the monuments and also provided sanitizers.

According to the information received, preparations have also been completed in 10 ticketed historical monuments including Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Jantar Mantar, Safdarjung's Tomb, Purana Fort. Apart from this, the monuments which have free entry will be given admission only after thermal scanning at the entry. It has been learned that ASI Delhi Circle official said that all the precautionary steps for tourists are being taken in the memorial. As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, all the people entering the monuments will have to enter their phone numbers to help in contact tracing. In addition, more than 2000 thousand people will not be able to enter the monuments.

It is also being said that tourists will be required to wear masks, no one will be given entry without masks. There are 174 protected historical monuments in Delhi. ASI-protected monuments and museums are being opened across the country. Of these, tickets for the memorial are being issued online.
