Mohali: The police have got a big success in a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) attack on the headquarters of the Intelligence Department of Punjab Police in Sector-77 of Mohali. The Faridkot police have arrested Nishan Singh, a resident of village Kulla in Tarn Taran district, in this incident. The culprit has been handed over to the Mohali police.
The arrest of Nishan Singh is being seen as a big success for the police in the blast case. The state government is being surrounded by opposition parties on law and order, the state's CM Bhagwant Mann is also instructing the police-administration to take the toughest steps on this serious issue. At the same time, all the security agencies across Punjab are also on alert. In such a situation, the Faridkot CIA staff also joined the investigation of this incident and arrested Nishan Singh from Amritsar on suspicion. After preliminary interrogation, Nishan Singh is taken to Mohali by CIA staff from Faridkot.
