According to the information received, it was revealed in the SLBC meeting that out of the Rs 338 crore of the state government banks, 212 crores is still retained with them while the amount of Rs 126 crore has been returned to the Punjab government. The amount of Rs 212 crore that banks have kept with them. She is a part of the farmers who have not been able to identify other documents other than their right address under the Kisan loan waiver scheme. The number of such farmers is 10.637. 212 crore was to be deposited in their accounts in lieu of a loan waiver which has not been deposited to date.

According to the information received from the same sources, the bankers say that the banks have stopped this amount in waiting to prove the identity of the farmers. On the other hand. There are also 6.336 farmers eligible for debt waiver scheme who do not have accounts in banks or bank accounts have been closed. 126 crore rupees were to be given to such farmers for a loan waiver. This amount was returned to the state government.
