Jammu: An encounter has started in Rangreth area of Srinagar. Security forces have gunned down two terrorists. There is no report of some more terrorists still hiding in the area. Security forces have learnt that terrorists are present at Rangreth in Srinagar.
On this information, security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation. The terrorist also opened fire on the jawans as the cordon tightened, but showed restraint and asked him to surrender. Many a time, opportunities were given. As the firing continued, the security forces retaliated, killing two terrorists. They are yet to be identified.
24 hours ago Jaish terrorist killed in Pulwama: Where it is learnt that the newly appointed Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist was gunned down by security forces in an encounter in South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Sunday.
