Bihar: A 22-year-old man was today killed and two others were injured when a bomb exploded outside a court in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said. This is the second such around the vicinity of the court in the past four months in the district and third in the state this year. Five people were injured in an explosion on March 11.
The bomb went off at around 1.55pm when there was a huge rush at the court premises. The deceased has been identified as Sachin Kumar alias Guddu.
Police investigations are on and further details were awaited. A similar blast had occurred on the court premises in Chapra on April 18 injuring three.
Another blast took place at the Chapra civil court in September 2014. In January 2015, two persons, including a policeman, died in a blast on the Ara court premises. In 2013, a bomb blast on Hajipur court premises helped some criminals flee.
