Patna: The politics has started in Bihar before the Panchayat elections 2021 regarding the chief election. Kumar Gaurav alias Kumod Sharma, son of Mukhiya Kadam Devi, was shot dead by criminals in broad daylight after he was threatened with not contesting the elections in Pakra village under Navagachhiya in Bhagalpur district.

The bullet is in the back of Gaurav who is trapped in Panjrathi. People gathered around after the incident. The injured were hurriedly brought to the sub-divisional hospital Navagachia by the family, where after first aid, e was referred to the Mayaganj hospital Bhagalpur due to his critical condition. Due to the Vikramshila Setu jam, the injured have been taken to Purnia where his condition remains critical.

The injured youth's mother Mukhiya Kadam Devi, father Ashok Sharma has told that his son Gaurav went to wash his hands behind the house after eating food. After returning his hand, the criminals shot him in the back. Navgachia police station chief Shailesh Kumar went to the scene and inquired on the incident. The forest behind the house was quite confused. It is suspected that the culprits were ambushed there from the east. Father Ashok Sharma told that his son was shot by the culprit Bilaria from the village. The plot includes Lalan Rai, Ramchandra Rai, Sohan Rai, Dhoko Rai, Niro Rai and Malik Rai from the village itself.
