Truck and auto-rickshaw collides in Bihar, 7 people killed and 4 injured

Patna: There has been a major road accident in Bihar. Giving information about the incident, a senior police officer said that a high speed truck hit two auto-rickshaws on GT Road in Gaya district of Bihar on Monday. About 7 people have been killed and about 4 others have been injured. The accident took place on GT Road (NH 2) near Bishunganj village under Amas police station in the district.
Both auto-rickshaws were going towards Gaya.

Sources said that the high speed truck was coming from Aurangabad in the opposite direction (Gaya to Aurangabad). After the accident, the crowd of lange gathered at the scene. In this case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajiv Mishra said that all the bodies have been taken to Anugraha Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital, Gaya for postmortem. Police said the injured are undergoing treatment at the Madanpur Primary Health Center and Aamas Primary Health Center in Aurangabad district, where some are said to be in critical condition.

Those killed and injured in the accident were returning to their village Regania under Amas police station in two auto-rickshaws after attending a tilak ceremony at Baluganj in Dev Block in neighboring Aurangabad district.
