Patna: CM Nitish Kumar is adamant on Bihar's demand for special statehood but BJP is opposing it. The differences between the two parties in power on the issue are growing. However, even after that, both the parties will contest the UP Assembly elections together.

On behalf of BJP, Panchayati Raj Minister Samrat Chaudhary said there is no justification for giving special statehood to Bihar. This is the agenda of the JDU. The BJP has 16 ministers in the government. The Government is running with the help of each other. Bihar is being formed from 2005 to 2021. The road was constructed from village to village. We are also moving ahead in power generation.

Atalji had given the package through BRGF. The Kanti thermal plant was made of the same. On the other hand, JDU says that NITI Aayog should change the standard to special statehood. However, Niti Aayog does not have a special state status provision. On the other hand, both the parties have approved the joint contest of assembly elections in UP.
