Patna: Recently, 10 people died due to poisonous liquor in Nalanda, Bihar, after which there has been a dispute between the ruling parties and in this sequence, Hindustani Yuva Morcha, the party of NDA ally and former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, has enacted liquor prohibition law in Bihar. There has been a great demand to abolish it. Hindustani Awam Morcha has told that it has become clear from the poisonous liquor incident in Nalanda that the prohibition law in Bihar has completely failed and this law should be repealed now.

Senior Hindustani Awam Morcha spokesperson Danish Rizwan said that when the Central Government can withdraw a law, why can't the CM withdraw the prohibition law in Bihar? Hindustani Awam Morcha spokesperson Danish Rizwan said, "Withdrawing any law should not make it a question of prestige. In all the cities of Bihar, today, poisonous liquor is being received due to prohibition and the poor are dying. It is putting a question mark on the government.''

On the other hand, another ally of the government, the BJP, has also hit out at Nitish Kumar over the deaths due to poisonous liquor. BJP spokesperson Arvind Kumar Singh said that if the prohibition law has failed in Bihar, it is because of an army of officers who are not complying with the law and are using it for extortion. BJP leader Arvind Kumar Singh said, "If the property of all officers is investigated, the prohibition law will be understood."
