Patna: Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan said the state government is determined to develop every section and every region in Bihar. He is continuously working on the policy of development with inclean. He further said that the relentless efforts of the State Government to control the corona infection have succeeded in controlling Bihar to a great extent. The government has decided to vaccinate every resident free of cost.
The direction issued by the central government on corona infection has been fully adhered to in Bihar. Governor Gandhi was delivering his address after unfurling the national tricolour on the occasion of Republic Day. Earlier, he also inspected the parade of soldiers. He then said that crime, corruption and communalism are the zero tolerance policy of the Bihar government.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor felicitated the Army soldiers of Bihar by giving them cash and citations by the State Government, which were earlier honoured by the Government of India. Tableaux were presented by various departments at the Republic Day celebrations held amidst cold winds at Gandhi Maidan. A number of dignitaries including CM Nitish Kumar, Assembly speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha, both deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi were present on the occasion.
