Bihar police big action over mob lynching, 32 people arrested

Patna: Mob leaching incidents in Bihar are increasing continously. In Patna, another deranged person has been killed in the alleged child theft charges in Khagul Canal Road under Rupaspur police station, while two more were badly injured in the mob's anger. He is currently being treated at Danapur Mandal Hospital.

Mob lynching incidents are on the rise in the surrounding areas of Patna as child thieves. There have been frequent incidents of mob lynching in the last few days. The Bihar Police has now arrested 32 persons in a major crackdown in the case. They include 6 women and 26 men. All have been arrested for murder. On the other hand, the situation has intensified with regard to Mob Lynching. RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari has said that there are reports of mob lynching from all over the state. Innocent people are being killed in the name of child thief.

Azam Khan's claim proved false, Johar University said, "The land is not ours...."

He said, the government should take strict action against the guilty. There is a need for an awareness campaign. On the other hand, BJP leader Sanjeev Chaurasia has said that people should avoid paying attention to rumours. The Government is taking immediate action against those who have committed mob lynching. There is a need to identify the frenzied element hidden in the crowd.
