Earlier on Wednesday (August 31, 2022), the police had showered lathis on the candidates protesting outside the 'Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)' office. In which many students were injured. Journalist Shubhankar Mishra had also tweeted about the Bihar Police's lathi-charge on the candidates. He wrote in his tweet, 'The police of the government, which announced lakhs of jobs, have now lathi-charged BPSC students in Patna. The students were protesting against changing the pattern of the examination. On the other hand, Patna's lathi-charge ADM, who brutally beat up the student holding the 'tricolour' on August 22, has also not taken any action so far.'

Let us know that, students were constantly opposing the amendment in the pattern of the 67th BPSC examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission. The BPSC candidates gathered in Patna were demanding that the examination be conducted in a day. He said that a merit list should also be made on the basis of this. He said that the examination will be conducted on two days, so the level of examination questions will be different on both days. Therefore, the examination should be held on the same day instead of two days. Hundreds of candidates had gathered on the streets of Patna on Wednesday to protest against these two demands. The police then lathi-charged them.
