Patna: A youth was found murdered by slitting his throat in the Jankinagar police station area of the Purnea district of Bihar. The incident has created a sensation in the area. After receiving information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody, and sent it for postmortem. Regarding this incident, the family members of the deceased say that the young man was missing since Wednesday afternoon. After a lot of searching, the body was found on the canal side near the village.

Banmankhi Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kripashankar Azad said that villagers had informed the Janakinagar police station that the body of a man was found lying near JBC Canal Gangapur Ward No.5. As soon as the information was received, a police team reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Meanwhile, the body has been identified as Shyam Kishore son of Sukhdev Ram resident Madhepura.  

Police are investigating the matter. The brother of the deceased said that a young man named Sintu Yadav had taken his brother to get a driver's license. He kidnapped and killed him by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon.
