Bilaspur: The Bilaspur High Court has given a big blow to the Bhupesh government of the state. On Monday, the Bilaspur High Court has issued an order to stop the notification issued by the government regarding reservation in promotion. In fact, on 22 October, the state government issued a notification regarding reservation in promotion.
Against this, a petition was filed in the Bilaspur High Court. In which there was a demand for cancellation of the notification, alleging that the rules of reservation were ignored. On the last hearing in the court, on behalf of the government, the Advocate General had said that the High Court and Supreme Court orders were not followed while issuing the notification. On which the court banned the reservation in the promotion and asked to reply by January.
In the High Court, S. Santosh Kumar and others have filed a petition against reservation in promotion. The petition states that the reservation has been issued contrary to the rules. The notification is against the principle of creamy layer. The petition has also demanded the cancellation of the notification of the state government. The next hearing in the case will now be held on January 20.
