Working towards energy security Minister of State Gen VK Singh and other BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers signed a MoU on Grid Interconnection on the last day of the summit. The MoU provides for optimization of using energy resources in the region and promotion of efficient and secure operation of power system, among other things.
