New Delhi: The Union government will propose the Biological Diversity (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in the Lok Sabha today. Price hikes and climate change are also likely to be discussed in the House.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will move The Appropriation (No.5) Bill, 2021 for leave to introduce a Bill to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the financial year 2021-2022 after the Lower House approves the Supplementary Demands for Grants for 2021-22. She'll also introduce the bill, which she'll then move for passage.
