In Tamil Nadu, a major helicopter crash took place in Coonoor last Wednesday. India's first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat died in the accident. Not only that, he was accompanied by a total of 14 people including his wife Madhulika Rawat. Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of the accident, is undergoing treatment at an Army Hospital in Wellington.

The last rites of the late General Bipin Rawat will be held tomorrow in the cantonment area of Delhi on Friday. The last glimpse of his mortal remains has been prepared tomorrow, after which his last visit will be taken out with military honours.
