You all must have heard Mukesh's voice. The fans of his voice are not only in India, but people in abroad also like to listen to his songs very much. It is said that between the years 1940 to 1970, he made many songs in harmony. It is said that Mukesh's songs are an inspiration for many musicians and singers even today. Mukesh has given many such songs which are evergreen. This list includes songs like 'Sawan Ka Mahina', 'Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein', 'Jaane Kahan Gaye Woh Geet' and these songs are still heard in wedding orchestra nights, homes etc. Mukesh was born on 22 July 1923 and his full name is Mukesh Chand Mathur.

He spent his childhood in Delhi. At the age of 53, Mukesh said goodbye to this world but his songs in the memories of the people left a mark forever. It is said that Mukesh Lala is the sixth child of Zorawar Chand Mathur and Chand Rani and after studying till 10th in Delhi, Mukesh got a job in public works. His singing talent was later recognized by actor Motilal at a wedding ceremony. Mukesh is said to have married Saral Trivedi at the age of 23, in which no one from Saral's family joined. They didn't agree to this marriage.

The two then got married at a temple on Mukesh's 23rd birthday with the help of actor Motilal. Mukesh had sung his first song in Bollywood as 'Dil Jalta Hai Toh Jalne Do' and this song he sang in 1941 for the film Masoom and in this film, Mukesh also acted. At that time, no one had any idea that his voice would be preferred more than acting. However, after this, Mukesh became the voice of famous actor Raj Kapoor in many films including Awara, Mera Naam Joker, Sangam, Shri 420 etc. Along with this, he has also lent his voice to Manoj Kumar, Feroze Gandhi, Sunil Dutt, etc. Mukesh died of a heart attack during a concert in the US.
