The legendary writer who received Sahitya Akademi award, Padma Shree, and Padma Bhushan over the years for his incredible contribution to the Indian literature. Among all the books and stories that he wrote his first book “the room on the roof”, he received John Lyewyns Rhys memorial prize for it. He later wrote many novels, articles, books.

His new book is to be launched on his 84th birthday on 19th of may 2018 in his eternal favorite place, Cambridge bookstore Mussoorie.

The writer gives all the credits for the book to a little boy hailing from Shri Lanka.

He received a card like the other several times. He was inspired by a boy that was drawn on the card playing flute for a kitten.

He saw a story in that picture and came up with a new book. This launch is going to be a special one because the launch and his birthday coincide.

Ruskin has a book for every phase of your life and his caliber to make you a book addict is something nobody can ever inherit. He is different just like his stories.
