New Delhi: The National Democratic Party (RLP), an ally of the NDA, has supported the Bharat bandh call of farmers. Hanuman Beniwal, President of RLP and MP from Nagaur, Rajasthan has said that RLP is against the agricultural laws of the Center. He has demanded withdrawal of all three laws from the Center.

It is noteworthy that Hanuman Beniwal wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in which he asked for withdrawal of agricultural laws. Now he has said that if this does not happen, the RLP may rethink the continuation of the constituent party in the NDA. After the letter, many leaders of Rajasthan BJP targeted Hanuman Beniwal, leader of the National Democratic Party, part of the NDA. Pratap Singh Singhvi, Bhawani Singh Rajawat, Prahlad Gunjal, who is considered close of former CM Vasundhara Raje, wrote letters to Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda.

These leaders said that the BJP does not need to continue the alliance with Hanuman Beniwal-led National Democratic Party and they can leave the alliance today. Political experts from Rajasthan say that the BJP formed an alliance with Hanuman Beniwal's National Democratic Party for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections despite Vasundhara Raje's consent. Hanuman Beniwal and Vasundhara Raje have been political rivals and Beniwal has commented on Vasundhara Raje many times.
