Ranchi: A joint press conference of the NDA was called in the AJSU state office on Monday regarding the alliance between AJSU and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the by-elections to be held in Dumka and Bermo assembly seats in Jharkhand. During this time, it was announced that both the BJP and AJSU will contest elections on the seat.

AJSU President Sudesh Mahato said that we and the BJP have come together once again for development in this state. He said that whenever the AJSU and the BJP have contested the elections together, then the Grand Alliance has suffered a defeat. Mahato said that we also felt that we had lost in the last election due to the splitting of votes, so we have come together once again and will be together again.

Sudesh Mahato hoped that the NDA alliance would win both the seats in the by-elections to the upcoming assembly. He said that we will go among the people about the failures of the current government. The BJP had announced the names of its candidates on Sunday for the by-election of the assembly in Jharkhand.
