KPCC president D K Shivakumar is facing his first election post appointment is keen on the victory in both RR Nagar and SIRA constituencies. Three major contestants, including JDS are campaigning hardly to win the votes. BJP whose victory in SIRA is not confident is repeating its 2019 KR Pete bypoll success in Sira, and congress who is unsure about RR nagara is repeating it's 2017 Gundlupete bypoll strategy. Both the strategies centralizes women voters.

Only one week left for voting, both parties are busy wooing women voters. BJP taking the KR Pete route gathers women voters of Sira at village temples, making promises specifically that appeal to them, the Congress is reaching out to women self-help groups in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Many women’s self-help groups work in close proximity with the local administration, and the Congress has been playing its ‘woman candidate’ card to woo these voters.

However, BJP candidate Muniratna’s controversial past is the key to convince women voters to “elect one of their own”. Congress is implementing similar campaigns. Women cadres are approaching women’s self-help groups, garment factory workers’ union leaders and housewives’ network in R R Nagar. The internal report says Congress may suffer a severe loss, the Congress is banking on women voters to turn the wind in its favour.
