Patna: Politics started after BJP state president JP Nadda's announcement to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2025 assembly elections in alliance with the JD(U). Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has challenged the BJP and said that in Bihar, the BJP should contest alone. He said the BJP can never contest alone. He always fights elections with the help of others.

In fact, there have been many discussions in Bihar's politics about the relationship between the JDU and the BJP. Ideological differences between the two have been speculated on many issues. But national president JP Nadda and home minister Amit Shah made it clear during their visit to Bihar that the BJP will contest the Lok Sabha and 2025 Assembly elections in Bihar along with Nitish Kumar. On Tejashwi's challenge to the BJP, BJP spokesperson Premranjan Patel said, Tejashwi should first look into himself. The BJP has won many elections by fighting on its own. If Tejashwi has the strength, show it by contesting the election on your own.

The same Centre has prepared a function to hoist the tricolour at every house on August 15 as the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this, Tejashwi said that the tricolour is in our hearts. The BJP talks about the tricolour but the RSS started hoisting the tricolour in Nagpur after 2000. It's just a matter of politics. According to political experts, these days Tejashwi's closeness to Nitish was constantly increasing. Tejashwi was confident that Nitish Kumar could come with him in the coming days. But the BJP's assurance left them surprised.
