The Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that the government led by Hemant Soren in Jharkhand has crossed all limits of appeasement. Bharatiya Janata Party state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev said that "On one side Medha Dairy of Jharkhand Government advertises Ramzan Mubarak, and gives permission to celebrate iftar party in its office. On the other hand, on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan for Lord Shri Ram's temple, a warning letter is given to a person who distributes sweets in the office of Medha."

Shahdev said "In the warning letter given to the person distributing sweets for the Ram temple, he has been warned of strict action if found doing this again. It has also been said that there are people of other religions in the office as well, so it is unjustice to do so. Dismiss the officers who issued it".
