On Monday, The Shiv Sena stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost an interaction with the poor section of the society.

The comment was in reference to the BJP's recent campaign called 'Sampark Se Samarthan' , which it initiated last month.

Shiv Sena allegedly through its 'Mukhpatra', 'Saamna' stated that, "The people contacting Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Ratan Tata, Ambani, Adhani for support, have lost contact with the poor."
The Shiv Sena also expressed its disappointment regarding the suicide cases, towards the Centre and the BJP government in Maharashtra for the rapidly multiplying number of suicides across the state.

Samna read, "The state is crippled by poverty and hunger, which is driving people to commit suicide along with their families. We have to get out of the illusion that Prime Minister Modi will do anything for the poor."

Shiv Sena has also blamed the BJP government for being ignorant towards the poor section of the society and majorly focussing its attention on the big- budget ventures like bullet trains, metro, and hyper-city.

Shiv Sena through its Mouthpiece Samna blamed BJP and said that the funds provided by the foreign countries have just worsened the circumstances.
