Guwahati: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a huge rally in Guwahati. More than 50 thousand people of BJP participated in this rally of booth level workers. After the protests in Assam, this BJP conference is being seen as a show of strength. Several senior party leaders and ministers of the Assam government took part in this massive rally, including BJP Working President JP Nadda.

During this rally, Nadda addressed the rally. In his address, Nadda said that there are about 2300 political parties in the country, out of which 54 are parties that are regional, which the Election Commission has recognized. Apart from this, there are 7 such parties, which have been called the National Party. All these parties have become family parties. Nadda said that at the national level, all parties in the national parties have also become family, but the BJP is such a party that is still working on the principles. The work of changing the picture of Goddess Bharti with thoughts is being done by the BJP. Nadda in his speech also referred to the Citizenship Amendment Act and the circumstances of the minorities suffering in other countries.

PM Modi is also going to visit Assam on 10 January. During the protests against the NRC and CAA, it has been announced to oppose this visit of PM in Assam, which was disturbed. PM Modi is going to Assam to inaugurate the Khelo India Games on January 10, on which All Assam Student Union, the main political party of Assam, has said that if PM comes to Assam to participate in the program of Khelo India then it will be strongly opposed.
