BJP Kisan Morcha national executive meeting this month end in Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata party’s frontal organisation for farmers plans to devise a strategy to reach out to farmers in poll-bound states at a meeting planned this month-end in Delhi i.e on 30 October. The meeting will discuss the impact of farmers' agitation and other crucial issues related to agriculture. BJP chief JP Nadda will address the meeting.

the BJP's Kisan Morcha national president and MP Rajkumar Chahar will preside  the meeting. The BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh and Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will also attend the meeting.  The meeting holds importance post the October 3 violence in Lakhimpur Kheri which claimed nine lives, including four farmers. Plans to reach out to farmers in poll-bound states will be discussed and a special campaign will be finalized. RSS affiliate BKS national secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra said the government should look at the 2018 export policy and develop 22,000 agricultural haats across the country.

Farmers in western Uttar Pradesh and Punjab have been protesting since last one year against the three new farm laws passed by the Centre. Assembly polls will be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur in February-March 2022.
