That should worry Mamata Banerjee. pic.twitter.com/rxlCUsThqP
BJP leader Amit Malviya wrote in his tweet that the former governor's statement means a lot as he is closely aware of the SSC scam in Bengal. The BJP leader said many chief ministers have spent many years in jail even for minor recruitment scams. This should worry Mamata Banerjee. In the video shared by Amit Malviya, Dhankhar can be heard describing the West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam as the mother of all scams.
Amid huge pressure, after the SSC scam came to light, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday removed Partha Chatterjee from all ministries and from the party. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team is investigating the irregularities in the recruitment of teachers when Chatterjee was the education minister. Partha is currently in the custody of the ED, which is probing the scam from the money laundering angle.
