Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya has accused the Shiv Sena-NCP and Congress coalition government in Maharashtra of obstructing development work. Somaiya said that the Shiv Sena government has banned infrastructure projects worth crores. Somaiya made his point through a video. He alleged that the Shiv Sena government has also stopped the projects to be completed by the central and state government through a shared budget.

Somaiya accused that Uddhav Thackeray's government had stopped the progress of Maharashtra on the pretext of stopping the project. Kirit said in this video that, the first thing the Shiv Sena government of Maharashtra did was to stop infrastructure projects worth Rs 18 lakh crore. In which there are small projects worth 8 lakh crore rupees.

Somaiya further said that in these projects, Nagpur Samriddhi Highway, Metro Projects of all cities, Projects of roads connecting cities of all villages, National Drinking Water Project, all these schemes were to provide equal amount to the Central and State Government. Due to this postponement statement, the Shiv Sena government has stopped the progress of Maharashtra.
