Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national secretary Rahul Sinha has said that most of the people sitting in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Citizenship Register (NRC) in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh and Kolkata's Park Circus are mostly Bangladeshi and Pakistani. Sinha has said, 'Most of the people sitting in Shaheen Bagh and Park Circus are infiltrators from Bangladesh and Pakistan.'

He has said that they are protesting using children and women as shields. Recent videos have shown that they want to divide India and cut Assam apart from India. Can people living in the country ever speak of dividing this country? He further said, 'Today I also ask the leaders who went to Shaheen Bagh, did you go there to support those elements who talk about breaking the country?'
