BHOPAL: Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, the newly designated leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh in a significant ceremony held in Bhopal on Wednesday. This inauguration followed the oath-taking of BJP MLA Mohan Yadav as the Chief Minister of the state.
The solemn ceremony took place at the expansive Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, where Governor Mangubhai C. Patel administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Deputy Chief Ministers.
The event garnered attention from several high-profile figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), who graced the occasion with their presence.
Prime Minister Modi received an enthusiastic welcome upon his arrival at the venue, with chants of his name resonating among the gathered BJP party workers and attendees. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP's national president JP Nadda, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde of Maharashtra, Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, and Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand were also present to witness the swearing-in ceremony of CM Mohan Yadav.
BHOPAL:Amit Shah and JP Nadda arrived at Bhopal airport, where they were welcomed by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and the newly appointed CM Mohan Yadav. Ahead of the ceremony, Jyotiraditya Scindia held discussions with CM Yadav in Bhopal.
Notably, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also arrived at Bhopal airport to attend the ceremony, expressing their joy at the establishment of a new government in Madhya Pradesh under PM Modi's leadership.
Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed confidence in the new Chief Minister, stating his belief that CM Mohan Yadav would elevate the state's prosperity, development, and public welfare to unprecedented levels.
In his address, Chief Minister Yadav affirmed his commitment to steering the state's progress, echoing the leadership style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in guiding the nation forward.
