Hyderabad: BJP MLA from Hyderabad, T Raja Singh, who is in trouble for making a statement on the Prophet Mohammad of Islam, says that he is fighting for religion and is ready to die as well. While being arrested by the police, T Raja Singh said that I am doing all this for the sake of religion. I am ready to die for this. T Raja Singh said, 'They (police) have removed my video from YouTube. I don't know what the police are going to do. Will definitely post the second part of the video when I am released. I am doing this for religion. I am even ready to die for religion.'

The BJP MLA wanted to know why so many complaints have been registered against him in different police stations. He said, 'Why were the complaints registered? Our Ram is not Ram? Our Sita is not Sita? I had requested the DGP with folded hands that he should not allow Munawar Faruqui, who did a hate comedy against Ram and Sita, for the program. Actually, on August 20, there was a program of Munawar Faruqui in Hyderabad, which was opposed by the BJP MLA. Due to this, he was also taken into custody. The program took place even after their protest and in response to that T Raja was speaking in a video. 

During this, Raja Singh gave a statement on Prophet Mohammad, about which there has been an uproar. On Monday night itself, thousands of Muslims raised slogans of 'Sir Tan Se Juda' by surrounding many police stations of Hyderabad including Dabirpur. After this, the police registered a case against Raja Singh and arrested him. Police said that complaints have been registered against the BJP MLA in several police stations. Dabirpur Police Station Inspector G Koteswara Rao informed that he has received a complaint against Singh alleging that he has made derogatory statements against a particular religion. Let us tell you that Munawar had abused Lord Ram and Mother Sita, but still his programs are organized from place to place and nothing is executed even after opposing it. The same thing happened in Hyderabad, T Raja had demanded not to allow Faruqui to run the program, But the event organised. Then when any religious remark was made by T Raja, Muslims on the streets of Hyderabad raised slogans of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' in front of the police. 

According to Koteswara Rao, the BJP MLA has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for promoting enmity between different groups on the basis of religion, doing intentional and malicious acts, and disrespecting religion and religious beliefs of any class. An FIR has been registered for hurting sentiments and criminal intimidation. Singh, MLA from Goshamahal, told media personnel during his arrest that the social media site on which he had shared his video had removed it and that he would post the 'second part' of the video clip after his release.
