BJP MP Ravi Kishan raises drugs issue in Parliament

New Delhi: On Monday, the issue of drugs has been raised in the parliament after a drug angle surfaced in the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious death case during the CBI probe. Bhojpuri superstar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Ravi Kishan raised the issue of drug trafficking in the lower house and urged the central government to investigate on a large scale.

During the Zero Hour, Ravi Kishan said in the Lok Sabha that the issue of drug trafficking is increasing and drugs are coming through China and Pakistan. Ravi Kishan said that it is being used in the film industry as well, NCB has caught many people. There is a demand that the Modi government should order an investigation on the issue of drug trafficking. Ravi Kishan further said that the younger generation is being ruined by the habit of drugs, in such a situation, there is a dire need to take action.

After investigating the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the drugs angle is also being investigated. The Narcotics Bureau has arrested about half a dozen people, including actress Rhea Chakraborty, in this case. Apart from this, NCB is constantly investigating and till now many drug peddlers have also been taken into custody.
