New Delhi: With the Lok Sabha elections looming, the ruling BJP has called for a national convention on February 17-18 to set its agenda. The two-day event will take place at Bharat Mandapam in the capital city.

The convention will kick off on February 17 with an inaugural session led by the party's national president JP Nadda. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the closing address on February 18. Ahead of this, a meeting of BJP's national office bearers is scheduled.

A wide array of party members will be invited, including general secretaries, cell convenors, Morcha presidents, and local government officials. Attendees will include representatives from National Executive, National Council, district presidents, Lok Sabha coordinators, and various committee members from across the country.

The BJP aims for PM Modi's return for a third term, focusing on the upcoming general elections slated between April and May this year.

The upcoming meeting has reached out to a broad spectrum of BJP leaders, including Lok Sabha cluster in-charges, coordinators, and conveners. Additionally, national spokespersons, state chief spokespersons, media and social media coordinators, as well as IT coordinators, have received invitations. The gathering will also see the participation of state presidents and general secretaries from different fronts, alongside regional coordinators representing various departments.
