Jaipur: The Gehlot government in Rajasthan is under question after the incident of set priest on fire in Karauli, Rajasthan. The BJP has attacked the state government over the issue. The BJP will hold a dharna against the Gehlot government in the state today over the issue. A BJP delegation will also visit the priest's family in Karauli.

The BJP has targeted Rahul Gandhi in connection with the burning of a priest in Karauli. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said Rahul Gandhi should now go to Rajasthan. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has said that the culprits will not be spared. Manoj Rajoria, MP from Karauli Dholpur, has demanded compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the priest's family and a government job to a family member.

Kailash Putra Kadu Meena, Shankar, Namo, RamLakhhan Meena, etc., were putting thatch to occupy the temple land in The Village of Bukana, which falls under the Potarra area in Karauli. When the priest prevented the encroachers from encroaching, they sprayed petrol and handed it over to the fire. The priest's body was severely scorched in the arson. The family first admitted the priest to the Potarra hospital, but he was reefer to Jaipur when the situation was critical. The priest died at 7 pm on Thursday evening during treatment in Jaipur.
