Maharashtra: Mohan Delkar, MP of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, committed suicide earlier. Now the suspense in his suicide case is getting deeper. Recently, Maharashtra Congress leader Sachin Sawant has made a big claim. He said, 'Former BJP MLA Praful Patel's name is in Mohan Delkar's suicide note.' Delkar had also complained about being harassed by the local BJP leader. His name is also found in the suicide note of Mohan Delkar. This is claimed by Congress leader Sachin Sawant.

In this regard, he met Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and demanded that the case be investigated in depth. Sachin said that Mohan Delkar had said in his complaint that local BJP leaders are harassing him and threatening to implicate him in a false case. BJP leader Praful Patel is currently working as administrator in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. He was an MLA from Himmat Nagar in Gujarat from 2007 to 2012. On 26 January 2020, when Dadra and Nagar Haveli were integrated with Daman and Diu, Praful Patel was made its inaugural administrator.

On February 22, Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP Mohan Delkar was found dead in his room at Hotel Sea Green in Marine Lines, South Mumbai. During the initial investigation during this period, the police said that he committed suicide by hanging. During this, the police recovered a suicide note written in Gujarati language from the hotel room. Police sources said that the names of 40 people are registered in it. The forensic team is investigating this.
