Satna: A police officer was allegedly beaten up by BJP woman leader Sadhna Patel, who is also the president of Chitrakoot Municipal Council in the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. This video is going viral on social media. It is reported that illegal excavation was taking place in Surangi village under Chitrakoot Nagar Panchayat. It is a tribal accommodation. To take action against this, Naib Tehsildar Sumit Gurjar reached the village with the police of Chitrakoot police station.  

This led to a dispute in which Sadhna Patel beat a police officer with slippers. A criminal case has been registered against Chitrakoot Municipal Council president Sadhna Patel, Aditya Patel, Chhotu Patel, and eight others under sections 147-48-49, 294, 186, 353, 332, 506 and 389 of the IPC.
