Karachi: A dangerous explosion has occurred in Karachi, Pakistan, on Saturday. The blast took place in the Shershah Paracha Chowk area of the city in which 10 people have been killed and people were also injured in major statistics. Dr. Sabir Memon, head of shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto Hospital Trauma Centre in the city, confirmed that the death toll in the accident has gone up to 10. Four of the injured are in critical condition. He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

According to reports, the incident took place in a drain in the area. The accident is said to have caused huge damage to a private bank building there. Police said the incident occurred due to a gas leak in a drain. As soon as the incident was reported, relief and rescue teams rushed to the spot, and the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police confirmed that the incident took place inside the drain. Many people had reported transfers and other things due to the blast. The area has been evacuated at present.

 

 

However, as a precautionary measure, the bomb disposal squad has reached the spot. Police and Rangers have also been deployed. The area is currently cordoned off from all sides. After completing the search operation by the police, the bomb disposal squad will be able to start investigating the cause of the accident. A statement has also been issued by Sindh Razors. The statement said several persons were injured in the blast near Shershah Paracha Chowk.
